Beveridge 2SW Electrostatic Speakers. - $7,000 (mcallen)

I had a line on a set for parts but the owner decided to keep them.
Jump forward to this April, I went out to the Axpona Audio Show, my good friend Bob had a spare set of speakers. Bob gave me a panel to get mine up and running.
The direct drive tube amps were designed by Roger Modjeski. I recapped and installed new resistors in the high voltage section then installed a new set GE tubes.
The Beveridge speaker is unique that it has a lense to disperse the sound so the speakers are set up on the left and right walls of the room facing each other.
New in 1977 the 2SW's were $7000 for the pair!
