CDL laborers will perform physical labor and operate commercial vehicles and equipment to complete highway construction jobs. Candidates must be able to operate hand and power tools of all types, Build and position forms for pouring concrete, and break down forms after use, using saws, hammers, nails or bolts, dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, maintain equipment and trucks, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools. Candidates Must have a valid class A or B commercial license, must be able to travel weekly for projects out of town if needed. highway construction experience is a plus but not necessary.
